This is a historical guide to Salesforce Summer '23, organized into administration, Flow and Apex updates. Use it to understand when a feature appeared or to revisit a change in an older implementation. It is not a summary of the latest Salesforce release.

Before you start

A working knowledge of Salesforce administration is helpful, with Apex familiarity for developer topics. Use a current practice org and check the feature availability for your edition. Screens, permissions and feature behavior can change after a recorded release, so keep the current documentation open alongside the lesson.

Put the lessons into practice

Choose one release feature and identify the problem it was designed to solve. Reproduce the smallest useful example, then compare the recorded behavior with the current platform. Note any differences before applying the technique to an existing implementation or recommending it to your team.
